HERITAGE PARK ATTRACTS 48,735 VISITORS IN 2011
Happy New Year from the West Coast Railway Heritage Park! The year 2011 was a busy but challenging one at the park, as we worked hard to put the new CN Roundhouse & Conference Centre to work and start to build the attraction into a new era for the future. While there remains much to do, an immediate success was the acceptance of the new roundhouse facility for a variety of occasions and uses.
We are pleased to report that this has all had a significant positive result - the West Coast Railway Heritage Park attracted a record 48,735 guests in 2011 - a 53% growth over 2010. This represents a new all time record for the Heritage Park and a significant increase in economic benefit to Squamish.
To start 2012 off right, the Heritage Park celebrates by offering everyone some unique and significant specials (until March 31, 2012).
