I sent an E-mail but I received no reply!?!
In this day of increasing spam (unwanted e-mail) some messages get lost in filters. If you want to be sure your e-mail gets to the registrar, send it as a plain text document, and ensuring the message has a clear subject (eg; Western Rails Reg). Please use a clear valid e-mail address (Sam_Jones@xyz.com' has a better chance of reaching the registrar than xgdhfye@xyz.com). Don't send an attachment unless you have informed me in advance. Western Rails traps for viruses, HTML code, too large a message, key bad words in subjects and messages from some servers noted for sending out spam. With the amount of spam received daily, expect some messages to get lost. If you don't get a reply relatively quickly (seven days), phone.
Payment
All fees for Western Rails are payable in Canadian Dollars. Western Rails accepts cheques or money orders in Canadian Dollars, or Canadian cash (Please do not mail cash). We have no facilities for accepting Credit Cards. NSF cheque fees will be charged to the registrant.
If you must send US dollar cheques please add $1.00 USD to allow for currency fluctuations.
What information will be on the name tag?
Your name tag will contain your first and last names from your registration form, as well as your business affiliation.
Can I request a Special Logo?
No.
When will I get a confirmation of my Registration?
Please accept you cancelled cheque as confirmation your application has been received. Starting in mid February, as tables are assigned registrants will receive a registration confirmation (via e-mail or conventional mail). If you mail your registration in and are concerned about whether it was received, you should phone the registrar after Feb 15th.
Please note the emphasis on providing a valid e-mail address. Several registrations have been received in past with invalid e-mail addresses; the registrations with bad e-mail addresses will receive a mailed confirmation in mid February.
