Friday September 19th
Depart your Vancouver hotel or Pacific Central Station at 7:20 AM for the 9:00 AM sailing from Tsawwassen to Swartz Bay on Vancouver Island. Upon disembarkation a visit is made to Butchart Gardens before a scenic drive into Victoria for overnight. There will be an opportunity to visit the Royal BC Museum.

Saturday September 20th
You leave the hotel at 7:15 AM for a ride on the VIA Rail E&N Malahat Dayliner RDC service for the 225 km journey to Courtenay. A motorcoach transfers us to a unique public market and to an oceanside hotel in Parksville for the evening.

Sunday September 21st
On the last day of our tour you cross the Island's central mountain spine and ride the Alberni Pacific Steam Railway on a special charter. This will include run-bys followed by a visit to Canada's only steam-operated sawmill. The day concludes with a ferry from Nanaimo's Departure Bay to Horseshoe Bay in West Vancouver and a transfer back to downtown Vancouver.
