Work on our Comox Logging steam engine #16 continues at Kamloops, with the photos that follow sent by Glen Wideman in accompaniment to last month’s article. (Recognize Nick Monkhouse & Glen Wideman in the photo to left?)
Further news notes that the first new parts for #16 were completed on March 26th. Three new air tanks were constructed. The pieces were cut and turned on the lathe by Roger Blagborne and pressure welded by Peter Balasti. They were pressure tested to 300psi and approved by David Ames.
