SCALE HOUSE Another building saved from the CNR yards in Vancouver was the Scale House. This building contained the weigh scale arms and dials which were connected to an elaborate array of levers and rods under a track section which allowed the weight of the cars to be read. Although the costs of saving the entire mechanism were prohibitive this scale house will be restored so as to enable interpretation of its original purpose.
