Built in 1949 for the CPR as a lightweight day coach it was converted to a display car in the 70's bt the BC Government along with its sisters Kootenay River and Skeena River.

Another CPR lightweight sister car to the Cowichan River.This car is to be turned over to the Railways of BC for them to use for display purposes.
