This is one of the first 3 diesel locomotives owned by the
British Columbia Electric Railway.
It served the BCER until it was sold to Eurocan Pulp in
Kitimat BC where it and a sister 70 Tonner switched cars in
the pulpmill. The other locomotive has also been preserved
and is at the Prince george Railway Museum.
Donated to the West Coast Railway Association, the
locomotive was shipped on a flatcar to Squamish in late
1996.
